Telson has released a UMPC that will enhance your gaming experience as well as provides awesome 3D images with Masterimage throwing 3D images right at you without those 3D glasses. Other features include a 4.3″ display at 800 x 480 resolution, 512MB RAM, a 30GB/60GB hard drive, a C7-M 1.2GHz processor, and a Windows XP operating system. No word on pricing or availability, but it probably wont be that cheao with this fancy 3D display!

Dell has introduced its new UMPC. Known as the mini Inspiron, the gadget features a trio of USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, VGA out, and an Ethernet port. There is no further details on this UMPC.

Our PMP features a 4.3” LCD with a resolution of 800×480, has 33GB of internal memory, Supports WMV and Mpeg video, DMB, and a new GUI that supports handwriting recognition similar to that found on the first Palm Pilot. It also has several dictionaries including English, Chinese, Japanese.

P10 supports PDF, Word and Excel files, and can be used as an e-Book reader. Two versions will be available in Korea, a Basic version (without DMB) for 200€, and a Pro version (with DMB) for 250€.

The price tag and specifications of the Gigabyte M528 Mobile Internet Device (MID) has been unveiled. Measuring 6 inch x 3.2 inch x 0.9 inch, the gadget comes equipped with a slide out 47 key back lit keyboard, a 800MHz Intel Atom processor, 512MB RAM, 4 or 8GB SSD, HSDPA 3G wireless module, and a 3060MAh battery which should give at least a 4hours of battery life. The Gigabyte M528 is powered by Linux operating system. The price is at around $1000 in the US.

Gigabyte’s M704 UMPC may well be on its way to the UK market (and possibly in other countries as well?). UMPCPortal gives us a brief historical background on the different names that Gigabyte’s M704 has taken related to its released in various countries.

First, it was released in Russia as the Rover A704 with SRP of $1000, in the Israeli market for $910. Then it appeared in the Spanish market as Ahtec X70GT for an SRP of $1088. And it’s latest appearance came in UK with some stores offering the M704 for pre-ordering with yet an undisclosed price.

If indeed the Gigabyte M704 UMPC is coming to the international market soon. Here’s what to expect from this 7″ UMPC:

  • 1200MHz VIA C7-M
  • 7″ 11024×600 display screen
  • 768 mb RAM
  • 40GB HD
  • Wi-FI
  • 2 USB ports

Engadget appears to have gotten their hands on the specs for the new HP UMPC 2133.  It’s coming powered with a VIA CM-7 Processor, either 1.2 or 1.6 GHz, a 8.9″ screen, 120 or 160 GB hard drive, and either 1024 or 2048 667 MHz DDR2.  The price of the 2133 will range from $549 to $849 (depending on the model), with the $549 version coming equipped with the SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 (nice choice!) and the other models with Microsoft Windows Vista.  The more expensive models will even have Bluetooth capability.

It looks like HP has designed an UMPC that will offer some stiff competition for the upcoming 9″ Eee PC.

3K Computers announced its own UMPC model, the Longitude 400 Mini Notebook. Retailing for just $399 and will be available in sometime in May, this new notebook sports a 7-inch LCD Display aside from its other features that include:

  • 400 MHz 32-Bit Single Core Mobile Processor,
  • 512 DDR2 RAM,
  • 1GB Flash Drive Storage,
  • Linux OS,
  • Full Flash Navigation,
  • Integrated 802.11 Wireless LAN,
  • full QWERTY keyboard,
  • 3 USB ports,
  • Media Card reader

Those are certainly a lot of features for the $399 SRP. It would have better if 3K released this earlier when the Asus Eee PC 701 was still not that famous. But, again for those who haven’t bought the Eee PC 701 and is seriously considering to buy a UMPC, you might want to give this one a try.

Here’s a look at BenQ’s upcoming UMPC called the mid. It has an Intel Atom processor (the base 800MHz model), 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD hard drive, HSPDA support along with wifi and bluetooth. The UMPC will also feature a “G-Senser” for “direct touch and free movement to surf on internet,” voice activation, and optional GPS.

It looks like BenQ’s soon to be released MID is becoming more and more like the Asus Eee PC. ITechnews is reporting that the BenQ MID which was previewed during the IDF in Shanghai would have:

  • 800 MHz Intel Silverthorone processor
  • Poulsbo chipset
  • 512 RAM
  • 4GB SSD
  • HSDPA support
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
  • Bluetooth EDR connectivity
  • Voice command
  • GPS feature (optional)

Hmm, yeah. except for the voice command and the HSDPA support, the BenQ MID does seem like the Asus Eee PC after all.

This 8.9 inch ultra portable laptop also provides up to 160GB of hard drive storage, an optional 64GB solid-state drive or 4GB Flash drive, an optional web camera, built-in stereo speakers and microphones, the Broadcom 802.11a/b/g or b/g wireless module, optional Bluetooth 2.0, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, two USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, Secure Digital (SD) slot, and a VGA output.
