Sony introduced two new members from the VAIO Z Series in the form of the VAIO VPCZ11Z9E and VAIO VPCZ11X9E. The Sony VAIO VPCZ11Z9E features a choice of Core i7-620m processors from 2.66GHZ up to 3.33GHZ and comes with up to 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 13.1 inch (1920 x 1080) LED display and a 256GB Quad SSD. Meanwhile, the Sony VAIO VPCZ11X9E features a choice of Core i7-620m processors from 2.4GHz to 2.93GHZ and a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 128GB Quad SSD, and a 13.1-inch (1600 x 900) LED display. Both laptops will be released in March 2010 for around $1,000 each.

The laptop comes equipped with a battery that provides up to six and a half hours under normal usage, or two hours in gaming mode. Other specs include a VGA out and an HDMI port, so you can connect it to your HDTV. The Alienware M11x will go on sale for sub-$1,000.
LG has Introduced a new ultra-thin notebook to its range by announcing the LG X300. Measuring only 17.6mm thick and weighing just 970 grams, the machine offers an 11.6-inch LCD display, a 2GHz Intel Atom processor, a 2GB RAM, a 1.3MP webcam, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 7-hour battery and runs on Windows 7 OS.
The DreamBook Light U11 is a computer from Pioneer Computers, Australia’s top manufacturer of personal computers since 1996. The laptop provides a 11.6-inch LCD screen with an Intel dual core SU2300 or SU4100 processor and up to 4GB of memory. Additional features include Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel Webcam, three USB ports and a four-in-one memory card reader. The DreamBook Light U11 retails for $630.
