Acer has rolled out the Aspire One AOD255 dual-boot netbook that runs on both Windows XP and Google Android. You can purchase the Acer Aspire One AOD255 for approximately $375.

HP has revealed, almost in silence, the new HP Mini 5103 netbook. This is a small netbook, but it offers a wide choice in the components: You can choose between Atom processor N455 or N475 and optional touchscreen. The display is 10.1 inches wide, however, the netbook has two 2GB of RAM, the ability to insert a HDD or a 320GB SSD and 128GB Intel GMA 3150 graphics standard. You can also include Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator.

Samsung confirmed the availability of the Samsung N230 Slim that measures 264mm x 188.9mm x 23.2mm and weights at 1Kg. The Viliv N5 is a 4.8-inch mini-netbook that boasts all the specifications found in a regular 10-inch netbook. The Windows 7-powered Viliv N5 features a 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor with a 1GB of RAM, a 32GB solid state disk, a QWERTY keyboard and a 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen display. The only model in stock at the moment is the Viliv N5 with a 3G modem, which runs about $799 each. The company will release the WiFi-only version on July 19th, 2010 for $649 a pop.

ASUS will launch this 12.1-inch netbook in the US market. ASUS will start shipping the laptop in the States on August 23rd, 2010 for less than $500.
