Acer has rolled out the Aspire One AOD255 dual-boot netbook that runs on both Windows XP and Google Android. The netbook features an Intel Atom D450 processor, a 10.1-inch display, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB of hard disk drive and a 3-cell battery. You can purchase the Acer Aspire One AOD255 for approximately $375.

HP has revealed, almost in silence, the new HP Mini 5103 netbook. This is a small netbook, but it offers a wide choice in the components: You can choose between Atom processor N455 or N475 and optional touchscreen. The display is 10.1 inches wide, however, the netbook has two 2GB of RAM, the ability to insert a HDD or a 320GB SSD and 128GB Intel GMA 3150 graphics standard. You can also include Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator.

Regarding ports HP Mini 5103, there is a gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0, VGA, audio in / out and an SD reader. At first glance, the Asus Eee PC 1001 PQ is just another standard netbook. Samsung confirmed the availability of the Samsung N230 Slim that measures 264mm x 188.9mm x 23.2mm and weights at 1Kg. The netbook boasts a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU with an Intel GMA 3150 chipset, a 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 2.5-inch 250GB SATA 5400RPM HDD and a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED backlit matte display. Other design features of the Samsung N230 Slim include a brushed metal effect for its bezel which should also limit fingerprints as well as a nice chicklet keyboard and a large touchpad. The Samsung N230 Slim also supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 10/100 Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0 HS, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, a webcam and a 4-in-1 memory card reader (SD, SDHC, MMC SDXC). Its 3-cell Lithium ion battery provides up to 7-hour of operation time.

The Viliv N5 is a 4.8-inch mini-netbook that boasts all the specifications found in a regular 10-inch netbook. The Windows 7-powered Viliv N5 features a 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor with a 1GB of RAM, a 32GB solid state disk, a QWERTY keyboard and a 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen display. The only model in stock at the moment is the Viliv N5 with a 3G modem, which runs about $799 each. The company will release the WiFi-only version on July 19th, 2010 for $649 a pop.

ASUS will launch this 12.1-inch netbook in the US market. ASUS will start shipping the laptop in the States on August 23rd, 2010 for less than $500. The Eee PC 1215N has a 1366 x 768 pixel display, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor and the latest nVidia ION graphics with the nVidia Optimus technology for automatically switching between the low power Intel graphics and the higher performance nVidia graphics.
