Continuing the Seashell line, the 1015BX isn’t a radical departure from previous generations in terms of looks, but it uses an AMD processor. AMD is a decent level of graphical power, here in the form of the AMD Radeon HD 6250.

There are three different processors available for this model as well as the dual-core 1GHz C50 unit we’re using here, there’s also a 1.2GHz single core C30 and a C60 1GHz dual-core too.

The middle unit we’re using appears tremendously slow, however. Installing apps is a real drag, and even basic desktop functions can take a while to sort themselves out. At first glance, the Asus Eee PC 1001 PQ is just another standard netbook. Intel Atom N450 (1.66 GHz), 10.1 inch display (1024×600 pixels), up to 2 GB DDR2 RAM and a 250 GB HDD are often seen together. But there are a few features that should make the heart of the children (or their parents) a beat.

Priced at $349.99, the Eee PC 1015PEB is ASUS’ latest 10.1-inch netbook. This mini laptop sports a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, a 5-in-1 card reader, WiFi, a 6-cell battery and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.

ASUS will launch this 12.1-inch netbook in the US market. ASUS will start shipping the laptop in the States on August 23rd, 2010 for less than $500. The Eee PC 1215N has a 1366 x 768 pixel display, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor and the latest nVidia ION graphics with the nVidia Optimus technology for automatically switching between the low power Intel graphics and the higher performance nVidia graphics.

This mini laptop sports a 10.1 1024 x 600 LED-backlight display, a 2GB DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, a card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Professional OS. The ASUS Eee PC 1016P-BU17-BK Seashell retails for $499.

ASUS has announced a new netbook computer silently promises incredible firepower. For starters, you get a 12.1-inch display, Intel Atom dual-core, and NVIDIA ION. Also ASUS Eee PC 1215N boasts full HD playback!

The EEE PC 1215N specifications include D525 Intel Atom CPU, the next generation of NVIDIA discrete ION, 320 max hard drive, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0, NVIDIA Optimus technology, display with resolution 1366 x 768 HD, webcam, wireless, and Windows 7 OS.

ASUS has showed off another one of its upcoming multimedia netbook called the Eee PC 1215N. This mini laptop sports a 12-inch 1366 x 768 display, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual-core processor, a NVIDIA ION graphics card, a 1GB RAM, an optional 250GB or 350GB hard drive, a webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a USB 3.0 port and an HDMI port.

Asus release the update version of EEE PC Series netbook and now using AMD processor. It’s Asus EEE PC 1201K powered by AMD Geode NX 1750 (1.4 GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM and 160/250GB/320GB hard drive.

Asus EEE PC 1201K has 10.1-inch display with 1366×768 pixel resolution, chiclet keyboard, built-in Geode chips, 0.3M pixel webcam, card reader, wifi 802.11 b/g/n (optional), bluetooth 2.1, and 6-cell battery. It’s already pre-installed Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

The FCC has recently approved the upcoming ASUS Eee PC 1016P. The netbook features a 10.1-inch LCD display with a choice of Intel Atom N450, N455 or N475 processors, up to 2GB of RAM, and a 9-hour of battery life. What’s more, the device also supports 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiMAX.

ASUS introduced the Eee PC 1201K, which is powered by an AMD Geode NX1750 processor instead of the usual Intel Atom processor. Available in black and silver, the Asus Eee PC 1201K features a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 1GB of DDR1 RAM, a choice of 160GB, 250GB or 320GB hard disk drive and an integrated 802.11 Wi-Fi. This Windows XP Home-powered netbook also features an optional Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a couple of USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell battery.

Asus has officially announced its Eee Tablet Pad and available in two variants, the Eee Pad EP101TC who gets a screen of 10 inches and the Eee Pad EP121 obtains a much larger screen measuring 12 inches. It’s the competitor of Apple iPad and Dell Streak tablet pc.

Asus did not reveal too much about the 10-inch Eee EP101TC Pad except it will run Windows Embedded Compact 7 and is expected to rise at a price ranging between $ 199 and $ 299, but they have revealed that 12 Pad-inch Eee EP121 is powered by the Intel platform CULV which includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and runs Windows 7 Home Premium and a battery life 10 hours.

They also promises an integrated webcam, a USB port and will be sold between $ 399 to $ 499.

The netbook supports a 12.1-inch 1366 x 768 display (glossy), an Intel Atom N450 processor, an nVidia ION graphics, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, and up to 320GB HDD 5400RPM. Its 6-cell 47Wh battery provides up to 6-hour of operation time. The ASUS Eee PC 1201PN is currently available in black, silver, blue and red.

Called the Eee PC 1015T, this mini laptop packs a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlight display, a 1.2GHz AMD V105 processor, an ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card, up to 4GB RAM, up to 320GB hard drive, a USB 3.0 port, WiFi, a 6-cell battery and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter + Express Gate OS. ASUS comes back with a new version of Eee PC netbook namely the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201PN. The netbook features an Intel Atom N450 processor and an nVidia ION graphics, allowing you to watch and enjoy Full HD videos on its 12.1-inch widescreen display. In addition, its LCD display also supports a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. Other important specs include HDMI, virtual 5.1 channel SRS Premium Sound, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and multi-gesture trackpad.

ASUS has decided to launch the new Eee PC R101 netbook in the German market via Amazon. The R101 is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a 250GB hard drive, a 10.1-inch LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, and an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 9.5-hour of operation time. You should have at least €299 to bring home the ASUS Eee PC R101.

ASUS has added a new 8.9-inch netbook to its range with the introduction of the Eee PC 900AX. This mini laptop sports an 8.9-inch 1024 x 600 LED backlight display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel GMA 950 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, a card reader, WiFi, a 4-cell battery and runs on Windows XP Home Edition OS.

Newegg has started selling the ASUS Eee PC 1005PR with a 10.1-inch HD 1366 x 768 display and the Broadcom Crystal HD card for 1080p playback. Priced at $399.99 with free shipping, this netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor with an Intel GMA 3150 graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard disk drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, a 6-cell battery and Microsoft Windows 7 Starter OS.

Word has it that ASUS will launch the Eee Tablet in June 2010. Known as the Eee Pad, the gadget will be powered by Android OS. Key features of the Eee Pad include a webcam, Adobe Flash support and USB connectivity.

The ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PR is now available for pre-order at Amazon. Priced at $399.99, the netbook provides a 1366 x 768 display and includes a Broadcom Crystal HD decoder card for smooth HD video playback. ASUS’s second HD screen Eee PC will also handle HD YouTube thanks to Flash 10.1.
