The Asus U41JF-A1 is a lightweight and thin laptop with the 14 inch HD LED display monitor. It can provide the HD resolution up to 1366 x 768 with the NVIDIA graphic card. The netbook supports SATA hardisk of 7200 rpm and has memory of 2 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM. The netbook is incorporated with the Genuine Windows 7 Starter 32 and SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 operating system. The netbook also has 93% full-seized spill resistant keyboard with the integrated VGA camera and various expansion features such as 3 USB port, 1 external VGA monitor port, 1 RJ-45 port, etc.

The L550-EZ1702 is a business laptop from Toshiba’s satellite series.  Its features includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB DDR2 SDRAM and a 320GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi drive, Intel HD graphics card, a built-in webcam and microphone, integrated Bluetooth connectivity and operates on Windows 7 Professional.  It has a 17.3″ widescreen display with Toshiba’s HD+ TruBrite technology and a pixel resolution of 1600 x 900. The keyboard is large, comfortable and responsive.  The touchpad is accurate and gives the right amount of feedback.  Battery backup is not very good. Overall it delivers the performance you’d expect from a larger machine-without a high price and could prove to be an excellent desktop replacement.

The G550 belongs to the value line models of Lenovo laptops.  The configuration consists of 2.2 GHz dual core processor, 15.6″ TFT display, 4 GB (max) Memory, 160 GB – Serial ATA-300 – 5400 rpm Hard Drive and comes preloaded with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OS.  The keyboard is well laid out and responsive.  The build quality feels very sturdy, but not up to the standards of other think pads.  The G550’s performance adds very much in its favor and the dual core processors delivers adequate performance.  The ergonomics is not up to the mark and it has a poor display.  This laptop just does not have it in it to hold its own against the other capable competitors.

At first look the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Tablet looks like a regular laptop, but on closer look the 12.1-inch display swivels on a hinge to fold flat, transforming the laptop into a tablet computer. This tablet computer is meant mainly for the business user and experts rate it as one of the best.  The keyboard is excellent and is very responsive.  The available webcam is also of very high quality.  The laptop feels very light but at the same time is built like a battle tank.  The touch screen display is very responsive and responds very well to handwriting.  The configuration of the tablet consists of a 2.13 GHz Intel Core i7-640LM CPU and a multi touch display, 2 GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive.

The Gateway LT3201u is a low-to-mid priced net book. This net book skips the usual Intel Atom processor for an AMD Athlon Neo II K125 processor.  Although it is a single core processor, the Neo is positioned as a better performer than the Atom.  The LT3201u also includes ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 2GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  It has an 11.6 inch HD widescreen Ultra bright LED-backlit display. The large keyboard allowed easy typing although the touchpad was not all that impressive. The HD display was crisp and clear even while displaying HD videos.  The LT3201u is reasonably priced.

Toshiba Portege M200 is a laptop that is provided with interesting features. The processor of Toshiba Portege M200 is 1.5 GHz Intel Premium M. The hard disk drive of 80 GB is provided and the type of it is HDE. The graphic card is supported with the integrated interface and the graphics RAM is 32 MB. 16 bit stereo speaker is provided along with the laptop and the sound can give 3D effects.
