MSI has unveiled prototypes of the Wind Pad 100, a 10-inch tablet device with an Intel Atom processor, Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, and custom Wind Touch user interface.
The Wind Pad 100 is based on the 1.66GHz Atom Z530 CPU and features 2GB of RAM, a 32GB solid state drive, and a 1024×600 display that uses capacitive multi-touch input technology. It will also include a web camera, two USB ports, and an HDMI connector.
MSI’s Wind Pad is expected to hit the market later this year for around $500.
