he LifeBook E780 comes with the Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, optional Intel vPro management technology, the GMA HD integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1GB dedicated video card, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner or optional Blu-Ray optical drive that can be replaced with an optional modular bay battery.

Its display has a resolution of 1366×768 or 1600×900 pixels and optional anti-glare coating.

Fujitsu’s LifeBook E780 also includes an optional 1.3MP web camera, 802.11n WiFi, optional Gobi 2000 mobile broadband connection, optional Bluetooth and modem, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, four USB ports, PC Card and ExpressCard slots, a Memory Stick/SD card slot, a Smart Card reader, Firewire, a Serial port, VGA output, a fingerprint sensor, and dual pointing devices – touchpad and quick point stick.

With the standard 6-cell battery, the notebook starts at 6.17 pounds and provides up to 4 hours and 20 minutes run time. The battery life can be extended to up to 11 hrs and 05 mins with optional 8-cell unit and additional modular bay battery.
