The 15.6-inch HP Pavilion dv6t entertainment notebook for this year includes the latest 2010 Intel Core series processors, replacing the old Core 2 Duo chips used in last year’s dv6t.
Along with the Core i3-330M, i3-350M, i5-430M or i5-520M CPU, the 2010 dv6t features the Intel HD integrated graphics or an Nvidia dedicated video card – the GeForce G 105M 512MB or GT 320M 1GB, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 640GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray optical drive.
Its 15.6-inch LED-backlit display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The latest Pavilion dv6t also includes an optional embedded HDTV Hybrid TV tuner, webcam with microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN port, optional 56k modem, four USB connectors (4th shared with eSATA port), a 5-in-1 media card reader, ExpressCard slot, VGA and HDMI outputs and an optional fingerprint reader.
The laptop includes a 6-cell battery which provides up to 4.5 hours of work time. For an extended battery life, there are optional high capacity 6-cell and 12-cell packs.
