The DreamBook Light U11 is a computer from Pioneer Computers, Australia’s top manufacturer of personal computers since 1996. The laptop provides a 11.6-inch LCD screen with an Intel dual core SU2300 or SU4100 processor and up to 4GB of memory. Additional features include Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel Webcam, three USB ports and a four-in-one memory card reader. The DreamBook Light U11 retails for $630.
Averatec has unveiled their latest netbook in the form of the HS-105 Christmas edition. The 10.1-inch netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, a 2GB of RAM, an Intel 945GSE, a 1024 x 600 resolution LCD screen with LED Backlight, a 160GB or 250GB of HDD, WiFi, and a 1.3MP webcam.
Fujitsu has unveiled more details about this 10.1-inch netbook. Available in Ivory White, Gorgeous Brown, and Black Diamond, the Fujitsu MH380 comes jam packed with an HD LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, Intel’s new N450 Atom processor, a 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. Other specs include a built-in card reader, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 10/100 LAN, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a six cell battery.
Packard Bell will launch the new EasyNote Butterfly Touch Edition in February 2010 for £499($798). What makes this tablet PC special is that it sports a capacitive touchscreen and is capable of multitouch and rotating 180 degrees. Available in red or black, the Packard Bell EasyNote Butterfly Touch Edition is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU processor with a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display, a 4GB RAM, Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth, 3G module (optional), and a card reader.
Asus has recently unveiled their latest Asus Eee PC 1001P. The netbook comes jam packed with a 160GB hard disk drive, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and a 10-inch LCD screens. There is no further info about this upcoming netbook. Word has it that the Asus Eee PC 1001P will differ from the other upcoming laptops from Asus. It seems that the Eee PC 1001P will have fewer wireless options, a lower capacity battery, a different lid design, or some other distinguishing characteristics.
Powered by an Intel Core i5-430M 2.26GHz processor, the X77 boasts a 17.3-inch 1600 x 900 LED backlight display, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics card, up to 4GB RAM, dual hard drives with 1TB of total capacity, a multi-format DVD burner, an HDMI port, an eSATA port and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The ASUS X77 should be available in mid January for an estimated price of 1000 Euro (about $1,425).
LG has launched another mini laptop for the US market in the form of the LGX130 which is basically the successor to the LGX120. This stylish netbook features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlight display, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, a 9-cell battery and runs on Windows XP Home OS. Available in black, white and pink color options, the LGX130 is sold for $600.
Packard Bell today introduced a new laptop for Valentino Rossi fans, which is known as the Packard Bell Dot VR46 Valentino Rossi edition. Unfortunately, there are no details on the specs. The notebook looks like a dressed-up version of the Packard Bell Dot M/U, which is also a rebranded version of the Acer Aspire 1410. According to rumors, the laptop is powered by an Intel CULV processor, an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card, and a 11.6-inch LCD display.
Acer will launch the Acer Ferrari One laptop in the US market. Designed for Ferrari enthusiasts or car lovers, the notebook is emblazoned with the Ferrari emblem and supports a CineCrystal LED-backlit display, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, a CrystalEye webcam and a 1.2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor. The computer runs on Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium and has three USB ports. In addition, its 6-cell battery provides up to five hours of operation time. Weighing at 3.31-pounds, the Acer Ferrari One is priced at $600.
The new m-Book MB-T900 series from Mouse Computer is currently available in two variants. The laptop comes with either a 1.60GHz Intel Core i7 720QM CPU or a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7 820QM CPU. Both models feature a 15.6-inch LCD screen with a 1366×768 resolution with a 4GB of PC3-10600, a 500GB of 7200rpm HDD, a DVD Super Multi or Blu-Ray Drive with DVD Burner, a nVidia GeForce GT240M with 1GB of VRAM, WiFi, and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit. Weighing at 2.6kg, the m-Book MB-T900 series will be released in Japan for around 119,000 Yen ($1,344) upwards, depending on the specification.

Korean MiNEW has launched a new netbook called the MiNEW N20U that has a 10.1-inch LCD screen offering a 1024×576 display resolution. The netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and comes standard with 1GB of RAM. Other features include a 16GB or a 32GB hard disk drive and WiFi connectivity. The MiNEW N20U netbook will be released only in South Korea.
