Maingear has rolled out its new eX-L 15 gaming laptop. The 15-inch notebook sports up to a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, a 1GB nVidia GeForce GTX 260M, a 1680×1050 display resolution, up to 8GB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive, and either a 500GB conventional hard drive or a 256GB SSD. The eX-L 15 with a basic configuration is priced at a hefty $1,899 but comes equipped with a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, a 4GB of memory, a 160GB drive and a DVD burner.

Taiwan’s Kinpo Electronics has come out with a new netbook that features an integrated 3G and WIMAX support. Known as the Kinpo N03, this mini laptop also sports a 1.2GHz/1.3GHz VIA Nano processor, an 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 1.3MP webcam, a 2GB RAM, HDD/SSD support, an SD card reader, 3 USB ports, Bluetooth, WiFi, a 400mAh battery and runs on either Windows XP or Windows Home Basic OS. The Kinpo N03 netbook is now available in China via Alibaba for $350.

The NVIDIA ION powered Samsung N510 netbook is finally available for pre-order in France via French retailer Pixmania for 499 Euros (about $718). It will start shipping from August 21st. Medion has come out with another affordable laptop which is targeted towards students.
