As a reminder, this mini laptop is equipped with a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 576 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, an Intel GMA 950 graphics, a VGA camera, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wifi, Windows XP Home Basic OS and a 3 cell battery.
The Sony VAIO VGN-P50 will be released in Japan on June 6th, 2009. Measuring 245mm x 120mm x 19.8mm and weights at 626grams, this ultra-compact entry-level laptop boasts an 8-inch ultra wide LCD screen with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 80GB HDD, and Intel’s US15W chipset. HP just released three netbooks to its HP Mini series in the form of the
HP Mini 1101, 110 XP, and 110 Mi. All of these netbooks feature a 10.1-inch widescreen LED, autosync software for easier connectivity to your primary PC, and the standard 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 / 1.66GHz N280 processor options with GMA 950 graphics, VGA output, 3 or 6 cell batteries, and Wi-Fi. The Mini 110 XP model comes with a 1GB RAM, a choice of 160GB HDD or 32GB SSD, and a Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator, which is good for 1080p video playback. You can also choose the Linux-powered Mini 110 Mi that comes with up to 250GB HDD and 2GB memory.
The HP Mini 1101 will be available on June 1st, 2009 for $329 in gloss black, meanwhile the black swirl Mini 110 XP and Mini 110 Mi will be launched on June 10th, 2009 for $329.99 and $279.99, respectively. Finally, the HP Mini 110 XP will be released in pink chic or white swirl on July 8th, 2009.

Lenovo is said to announce their first ION-based netbook tomorrow. However, not much info is given at the moment, but from what we heard, the system will sport either a 1.6GHz N270 or a 1.66 GHz N280 Intel Atom CPU, a 12-inch display, an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics and a 1080p HD video playback.
Acer has launched the LT3000 11.6-inch wide netbook in the Japanese market. The netbook has a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. Other features including three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP webcam and Windows XP operating system. Unfortunately, the battery lifetime is only enough up to 3 hours. The Acer LT3000 is priced at 65,000Yen($685) in Japan.
ASUS has added a new model to its Eee PC range with the introduction of ASUS Eee PC 1000HV. This mini laptop is equipped with a 10-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor, an ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics with 256MB of memory, a 1.3MP webcam, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a VGA port, three USB 2.0 ports, an SD/SDHC/MMC card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a six cell battery. The ASUS Eee PC 1000HV is now available for pre-order in Italy through Computer Discount for about €449 ($628).
Dell has rolled out its latest netbook namely the Dell Latitude 2100, which is specifically targeted for educational markets. This semi-rugged netbook comes with a rubberized exterior to protect it from bumps and drops, along with an optional anti-microbial keyboard. As for the specs itself, this mini laptop offers a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 576 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 1GB RAM, an optional 16GB SSD to a 250GB hard drive, WiFi and a choice of XP Home, Vista Home Basic and Linux Ubuntu OS. In addition, the netbook will also come with optional touchscreen features. The Dell Latitude 2100 retails for $369.
Check out Acer’s upcoming netbook that comes equipped with a mini Blu-ray drive. Dubbed as the Acer Aspire one 571, this mini laptop offers a 10.1-inch 16:9 widescreen display with 1280 x 720 resolution, an Intel Atom N280 processor, Quartics Q1721 Multimedia Coprocessor for encoding and decoding of H.264 content and the all new Vmedia’s optical drive for reading tiny Blu-ray discs with a diameter of only 32mm and a capacity of 1GB. Other specs remain unknown at the moment including pricing and availability.
MSI has added a new gaming laptop to their Turbo Drive Laptop series with the introduction of GX723. This new system boasts a 17-inch WXSGA screen, an Intel Core Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, a choice of either a 320GB or 500GB hard drive, a six/nine cell battery and Windows Vista Home Premium OS.
Toshiba comes back with the Dynabook Satellite TXW/67JW that is available exclusively on its e-Store. The notebook features an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor with a 4GB RAM, an Intel GM45 Express chipset, a 16-inch 1,366 x 768 resolution LCD display, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi drive, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Toshiba Dynabook Satellite TXW/67JW is available only in Japan for around $1,412.
Computer maker Fujiyama has unveiled their upcoming convertible touchscreen netbook namely the Fujiyama E-PC E-1001. This tablet PC offers a 10.2-inch convertible touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel 945GSE Express Chipset, a built-in 1.3MP camera, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Windows XP Home Edition OS and a 4 cell, 4500mAh battery. The E-PC E-1001 will likely make its debut at Computex in Taiwan next month.
Toshiba’s 12.1-inch Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ is claimed to be the world’s first laptop with a 512GB SSD. The ultra portable notebook features a Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU with a long 12-hour battery life. The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX2 will be released in Japan on May 14th, 2009 for 423,000 Yen ($4,429).
Engadget Chinese has unveiled the brand new CULV-based notebook from MSI. Weighing at only 1.4-Kg, the netbook comes with a 12-inch (1366 x 768 pixel) LED-backlit display, Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 3-cell battery, and a 250GB HDD. The 12-inch MSI U200 retails for $700.
Acer has started selling the Acer Aspire One D250 in Philippines for 23,995 Pesos, or around $508. In case you didn’t know, the Acer Aspire One D250 is actually a successor to the D150. The netbook features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor. Other specs include a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, and either a 3 or 6 cell battery.
Hannspree has released its HANNSnote 10-inch netbook with a 1024 x 600 resolution LCD, an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, an Intel GMA950 graphics card, and a 160GB hard drive. Available in white and black, the netbook also provides WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, three USB 2.0 ports, and a 1.3MP webcam. Hannspree will release this netbook later this month in Spain for between €299 and €399 ($400-$530).
