Memory maker OCZ has released their first netbook called the Neutrino. The 10.1-inch machine will come loaded with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 945GSE chipset, up to 2GB of RAM, an optional 250GB OCZ SSD, 1,024 x 600 resolution LCD, VGA output, Ethernet, twin USB 2.0 ports, a 4-cell (2,200mAh) battery, WiFi and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. The system will run on either Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux OS. The netbook itself will be available under OCZ’s DIY program which enables users to replace or upgrade memory and hard drive without loosing the warranty.

Samsung has decided to launch the Samsung NP-Q1EX UMPC that is powered by VIA Isaiah processor with a 7 inch WSVGA touchscreen display (1,024 × 600 resolution), a camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The gadget also supports SiRF Star embedded GPS receiver.

The Thin Note M1024 is a new super slim netbook from Gigabyte. Weighing at just 1.96 pounds, the netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with a 10.1 inch 1,024 x 600 resolution display, 1GB RAM, a 60GB/80GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with an optional embedded 3.5G modem.

Gigabyte Technology’s Booktop M1022 will be available in either Intel Atom N270/945GSE or the new Intel Atom N280/GN40 models. The netbook will be released on April 13th, 2009. It will be priced at approx. $481 to $510, depending on the specs.

Dell offers the special edition of its 15.4 inch Studio 15 laptop. The new model boasts a LED-backlit display and a Black Vapor exterior paint scheme. The laptop will be powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core processor with Intel’s integrated 4500MHD graphics processor, up to 4GB RAM, and a display that produces 1,440 x 900 resolution. while storage capacity ranges from 250GB to 320GB. The Special Edition Studio 15 is priced at $799 upwards, depending on the specs.

Asus offers a new Asus Lamborghini VX5 16 inch laptop that boasts a 1TB SSD. This luxurious laptop also offers an Intel Core 2 Quad processor with 4GB of RAM, the NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 1GB video card, a Blu-ray combo optical drive, and TwinTurbo technology that allows users to accelerate system’s performance via a speed key. The futuristic chassis of the VX5 is inspired by the Lamborghini Reventón.

MSI Wind U123 is the latest netbook from MSI. It comes packed with a 10.2 LCD display, an Intel Atom N280 processor, and 1GB RAM which is upgradeable up to 2GB. You’ll be able to choose from either six or nine cell battery options and a variety of color options, including black, white, blue and red.
