ASUS has finally announced the price tag for its Eee PC 1008HA Shell that was introduced at this year CeBIT. The netbook will be sold for £359 in the UK (including VAT) which is equivalent of about $511. As a reminder, the netbook comes packed with an Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, and 160GB HDD. The Eee PC 1008HA Shell is set to be released next month.

Lenovo has released official images of their upcoming Pocket Yoga Netbook, which is very similar in size and design to the expensive Sony VAIO P. The netbook features an ultra-wide touchscreen display, a leather exterior and a convertible design that would let the display flip backwards to use it as a very small tablet.

Fujitsu comes back with a new LifeBook A1120 laptop with exchangeable covers including Pink with Butterfly patterns, Royal Blue with Loyal Art patterns, and Green with Labyrinth patterns. This 15.6 inch widescreen laptop boasts an integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU, up to 4GB RAM, Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset, and up to 250GB HDD. Other features include DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer burner, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Buffalo releases a USB enclosure for its line of Eee PC 901 SSDs. Using this enclosure, you can plug in the USB module and copy an image of your internal SSD to the new module before swapping it out. When you are done, you can keep your old 16GB SSD as extra storage by sticking it into the enclosure. These enclosures are priced at 12,700 yen or about $130 each.
Asus has released some high quality press shots of their upcoming Eee PC T91 Convertible Tablet. As a reminder, the T91 comes equipped with a 8.9-inch touch-screen display, Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, US15W chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 32GB solid state drive, Windows XP Home pre-loaded, an optional internal TV tuner, and a built-in web camera.
MSI offers the new VR430 14.1-inch notebook based on AMD processor. This laptop is powered by either Turion X2 Ultra Dual Core or Sempron mobile processor, up to 4GB of RAM and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3200 graphics. It supports up to 320GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner and a 4-in-1 card reader. The laptop also adopts the ECO Engine, which can be found on most MSI notebooks, for extended battery life. Microsoft has recently released the Notebook Cooling Base that provides a built-in fan and efficient cooling channel to keep your laptop cool. This Notebook Cooling Base is compatible with any notebook. The stand draws its power from laptop’s USB port and has a cable management clip. The Microsoft Notebook Cooling Base will be available in July onwards for an estimated retail price of $29.95.
KuroKids has recently released a Doraemon themed netbook in Taiwan. This customized netbook is actually based on a Classmate PC which is designed especially for kids. The netbook features an 8.9-inch display with 1024×600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU and a hard drive. It sells for the equivalent of about $488.
Tnkgrl Mobile has added an eSATA port to her Acer Aspire One netbook. The port is located on right above the netbook’s second SD memory card slot. You will need steady hands for this hack as it requires carving up some holes in your netbook’s case that will void the warranty. If you want to hack your Acer Aspire One, then you should do it on Aspire Ones with expired warranties.

Asus has rolled out another of its G-series gaming notebooks known as the G71Gx. The system offers a 17-inch display with 1920×1200 resolution, Intel’s Centrino 2 platform, a brand-new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M GPU, 1GB of DDR3 VRAM, Blu-ray and Altec Lansing speakers. There’s also space for up to 12GB of RAM and dual 500GB hard drives.

AsRock, a budget brand of ASUS, has introduced three new products at 2009 CeBIT exhibition. These products consist of two notebooks: MultiBook M15 and MultiBook G12 and a nettop PC: S330. The M15 comes equipped with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit screen, a choice of Intel chip processors from the Pentium or Celeron family, 4GB of RAM, Intel’s integrated gMA 4500M graphic card, up to 500GB hard drive, an Ethernet as well as WiFi connectivity. Meanwhile, the G12 offers a 12.1-inch display, an unspecified Intel dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. These two are joined by the S330 that features an Intel’s newer dual-core 1.6GHz Atom 330 CPU, an integrated Intel GMA950 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive and a DVD writing optical drive.
