Fujitsu will release on January 6th, will release their new Penryn laptop with blu-ray called the Amilo Xi 2550. Featuring a 45nm 2.5 GHz T9300 Core 2 Duo, as well as Radeon HD2700 graphics, 2GB of RAM, 2 RAID 0 / 1 250GB drives, 1GB of flash turbo memory, and a dual-layer burner / Blu-ray player. $2415

Acer has announced its flagship 8930G media notebook with the new Intel Core 2 Quad Mobile Processor Q9000. With this Quad-Core supports, it allows for extreme mobile performance and speed for your gaming experience. The 18.4 inch notebook comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT, Blu-ray Disc/DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive, 6-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, 802.11a/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, Dolby Home Theater, and Windows Vista Premium 64-bit OS. They retail it for $1799.99.

LG has just created a laptop that also combines desktop parts within. The eXPRESs S900 as it’s called, features a 3.5-inch hard drive, in either a capacity of 250GB and 320GB, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows Vista, 2GB DDR2 (667MHz) RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics, DVD Super Multi Drive, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, DVB-T, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a multi-card reader. There’s no set release date yet, but the retail price will be between $1300 and $1750.

The ASUS G1 notebook is a versatile laptop that has all the essentials. It features a 2.0-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 2GB of DDR2-667 memory, 160GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7700 graphics, and a super bright 15.4-inch WSXGA+ display.

Raon Digital of Korea just released a new UMPC called the EVERUN Wibro. It has built-in Wibro module and enables users to get subsidy from KT and has a AMD LX900 processor and 60GB HDD. Korea is selling it for $849.

Resembling Ben Heck’s Atari 800 XE Laptop is made of three Atari computers (a 600XL and two 800XLs), a matching 1050 disk drive, a 1027 dot matrix printer, a 1010 cassette player, and a dead PC keyboard among other items from the scrap heap. Known as the Atari 600XL.

LG Electronics presented a new notebook, which combines functions of a desktop PC and a laptop – LG eXPRESs S900. This device with a 19-inch display is built on a processors Intel Core 2 Duo. According to the manufacturer, a matrix, used in the laptop, was taken from the original monitor. It exceeds in its characteristics a standard 19-inch laptop display with a resolution WXGA+ (1440×900 pixels). The second option taken from the desktop PC is a hard drive. S900 uses a standard 3.5-inch hard disk of 250 or 320 GB.

Desknote also has strong multimedia capabilities with support of Dolby Home Theater. The novelty has two 5 Watt stereo dynamics which can be competitors to an normal desktop columns. Also, the manufacturer notes that the S900 has a battery due to which it can work about half an hour.

Expected retail price of LG eXPRESs S900: from $1300 to $1750, depending on the configuration.

Hewlett-Packard decided not to lose their positions, and soon after release of its three new laptops the company has presented another novelty – Tablet PC Pavilion tx1400 with a turning sensory display.

tx1400 is a modernized version of tx1300 with a small touchpad. The notebook is built on a processor 2.2Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64, is equipped with the operational memory 2GB, 802.11n Wi-Fi, hard disk 250 Gb, and the graphics card Nvidia GeForce 6150.

HP tx1400 Pavilion costs about $1200.

Smooth Creations has released the customized MSI Wind U100 netbook that features a cool paint job. The netbook offers a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU with a 1GB of RAM, a 10.2 inch display (1024 x 600), a 120GB HDD, and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and a 3-cell battery. You can grab this netbook for $499.99, which is approx. $150 more than an MSI Wind without the paint job, or $70 more than the price of a U100 with a 6 cell battery.

Here is the latest Asus Eee PC S101 netbook that will be available only in Japan. Actually the specs are still the same like the previous S101 model except its new color. I guess this would be a perfect Christmas gift for your girl.

Acer company presented a new line of Acer Extensa notebooks – 4620. The new lineup consists of a streamlined and ergonomic models presented in two versions: Extensa Extensa 4620-6294 and 4620-4054.

Both models are equipped with 14.1-inch displays, operating systems MS Windows XP Professional (with the option of installing Windows Vista), the hard disk (120 GB), embedded graphics Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100, as well as 6-cell battery pack that provides more than 2 hours of work offline.

The main difference between the two models is the processor: 4620-6294 model is equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo T5450, but Extensa 4620-4054 has a processor Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2310.

Prices for laptops range from $700 to $800.

MicroWorks introduced a ‘Vega’ 20-inch notebook PC which is the largest notebook ever! It is packed with some cool features including AMD dual core processor, 1680×1050 resolution display screen, 4GB DDR2 memory, and 600GB HDD. This toy also equipped with ‘Scalable Link Interface’ system for enhanced graphic images and supports GPS capabilities and TV-input. Quite a powerful specs! However, the $7800 is the price for you to pay!

Dospara’s newest laptop, the Prime Note Helios DN, measures just 362mm x 265mm x 31.7mm and weights 8.7-pounds. On the inside, this sleek laptop boasts 17-inch WSXGA+ display, and powered by a 1.66-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 memory, an integrated 2.0MP webcam, 100GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, and a DVD Super-Multi drive. Its external interface includes four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, HDMI, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, and 802.11b/g WLAN. The laptop goes on sale today in Japan with the price tag of $1,622.

An Italian website, Netbook News, has already managed to get their hands on a Compaq Mini 700 and they have posted an unboxing video. The Compaq Mini 700 design is similar to the HP Mini 1000 netbook. It has the same keyboard, screen, touchpad, and speaker.

Dell will release the Adamo, a thin-and-light notebook. This Macbook Air competitor has a 13-inch display. Dell Adamo has its own website that is currently under construction.

Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds laptop  comes with an Intel Core 2 Quad processors and the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M GPU, 8GB RAM and 960GB of SSD / HDD storage. The laptop has a 17-inch screen with an integrated WACOM digitizer. The price starts at $3,600.

HP has released the new Pavillion called the TX-1400 convertible tablet. For $1,200, you get 12.1-inch touch screen as before, along with a 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor, Geforce Go 6150 graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth.
