Panasonic issued the enhanced Tablet PC Toughbook CF-H1, for use in health care. The device is consistent with military standards 810F and IP54, it was concluded in a solid block of magnesium alloy.
Toughbook CF-H1 can work not only in the sterile clean medical clinics, but also in the negative “field” conditions: Notebook withstands water, dust and vibration impacts. Medical tablet PC will be on sale in early 2009. Its recommended price is $2799.
