BenQ released its new 13-inch ultra-thin notebook Joybook X31. Corps of Joybook X31 is made of durable and lightweight magnesium alloy and aluminum bronze-colored mat.

The brightness and image quality of the display was increased by UltraVivid technology and DBEF (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film). The heart of BenQ Joybook X31 is an Intel processor frequency 1.6 GHz and low power consumption. It possesses built-in biometric fingerprint scanner.

MSI Wind PC U100 – a powerful mini-laptop, which will combine the all the best. 10″ U100 – one of the first notebooks that uses a processor Intel Atom. Representatives of the company stated that the Wind is much better than many inexpensive mini-notebooks represented at this moment in the market; MSI believes that they are not only flawed but, to the same time – impractical.

Dimensions of Wind PC is approximately 26 cm in length and 18 cm in width, and only 19-31.5 mm in thickness. A total weight with a battery does not exceed 1 kg. MSI Wind U100 with the Windows operating system will cost about $499, and Wind U100 with Linux will cost the buyer cheaper – only $399.

Here is the latest MacBook concept laptop that comes equipped with touch-sensitive displays. The concept is integrated with a full touch-sensitive keypad, which looks somewhat like the Apple MacBook Air.

This concept comes jam packed with a 13-inch LED display, iPhone compatibility, and an external SuperDrive.

Sony VAIO SZ91 features a Core Duo 2.16GHz processor, DVD±RW, a maximum of 120GB storage space, NVIDIA’s GeForce Go 7400 graphics card, and 512MB RAM (2GB max). It has a 4.5 mm thin LCD and the weight is only 3.73 lbs or equal to 1.69 kgs.

The 301S (Core Solo) and 401D (Core Duo) from Tsukomo Japan feature either an Intel Core Solo T3100 (1.66-GHz) or Core Duo T2300E (1.66-GHz) processor, 256MB/512MB of memory, 40GB/60GB HDD, and a DVD Super Multi drive (401D only). These notebooks support four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 3-in-1 memory card reader, and a Type 2 PC card slot. Both are available in Japan with the prices starting at $882.

The Samsung Q1 UMPC sports a 7-inch touchscreen display (1024 x 600), 60GB HDD, 1.3MP shooter, secondary 0.3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11a/b/g WLAN, HSDPA, and WiBro.

Telson has released a UMPC that will enhance your gaming experience as well as provides awesome 3D images with Masterimage throwing 3D images right at you without those 3D glasses. Other features include a 4.3″ display at 800 x 480 resolution, 512MB RAM, a 30GB/60GB hard drive, a C7-M 1.2GHz processor, and a Windows XP operating system. No word on pricing or availability, but it probably wont be that cheao with this fancy 3D display!

ASUS’s newest notebook can be described as a very versatile laptop The A8Jm Notebook features a 1280 x 800 WXGA display, an Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83-GHz) processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory (1GB standard), NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, 100GB HDD, and a built-in 0.3-megapixel camera. Watch out MacBook ASUS’s notebook is on the rise and is available now elect for $1,710.

This 3.3 pounds Panasonic Y5 features a 14.1″ SXGA+ TFT, Intel’s Core Duo low-voltage L2300 1.5GHz processor, 128MB (shared) VRAM, a maximum 1.5GB RAM, DVD-RW drive, and a 100GB HDD. The Y5’s hard drive is shock-insulated. Moreover, the spill-resistant keyboard helps to protect the rest of the laptop in case of a liquid spill. Panasonic Y5 comes in silver, black, gunmetal, metallic light blue, and red. This notebook has a 9-hour runtime.

Adding some more netbook models into our collection of “Computex debutants” are two netbooks from First International Computer (FIC) – the CE2A1 and CW0A1. Pardon the lack of “cool” branding, but these two netbooks are not to be outdone by competitors for their features and specifications.

Both FIC netbooks sport an 8.9-inch LCD display and same industrial design. Differentiating the two netbooks are their CPUs, the CE2A1 has 1.2GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor with VIA VX800 chipset while the CW0A1 boasts of 1600MHz Intel Atom processor N270.

Additionally, both netbooks features; centrally-located touchpad, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11b/g wireless LAN, 4-cell Lithium-Ion battery (6-cell optional) and a 1.8-inch hard disk drive with up to 160GB of internal storage.

The CE2A1 runs on Windows Vista Basic, Windows XP Home Edition or Linux operating system support while the CW0A1 runs on Windows XP Home Edition or Linux operating system support.

Priced at $1,400, Toshiba’s new Tecra M8 laptop comes with a small 13.3-inch screen TruBite LCD that offers better color, contrast, and overall quality when being compared to other displays. The laptop features 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, 1GB of RAM, 120GB of storage capacity, a DVD SuperMulti, and a built-in 1.3MP webcam with microphone. It also sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (with Enhanced Data Rate). Its graphics card is powered by Intel and their Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100.

The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 measures at just 19.5mm thick and comes with its shiny magnesium casing. The SS RX1 is available in three versions. It is the hard drive and optical drive where the specifications differ, the three versions come with 80GB HDD/ DVD writer, 80GB HDD/ HD-DVD drive and 64GB SSD drive/ DVD writer. Other features include 1.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 CPU, 1 GB RAM, Intel 945 GMS Chipset with video, 12.1 inch WXGA display (1280 x 800), Fingerprint scanner, SD card slot, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 will be available in Japan from late June with the first two models will be available for $1800 and $2054 respectively. The SSD equipped model will go on sale by start of July for $ 3125.

The Gigabyte unveiled its new M912 Mini Note. This tablet PC features a 8.9-inch touchscreen LCD, a 1.6GHz Atom CPU with 1GB of memory. Its hard drive provides a storage capacity from 120GB to 250GB depending on the exact model. The first version of the Gigabyte M912 mini note comes with Linux operating system and a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth and an SD card reader. The Gigabyte M912 Mini Note retails for around $500.

BenQ unveiled its latest Joybook, the BenQ S41. The laptop features Intel Core 2 Duo processor technology, 1GB RAM and nVIDIA GeForce 8600M graphics with UltraVivid technology. The Display Brilliance Enhancement Film (DBEF) enhances brightness. The Joybook S41 also comes equipped with SRS TruSurround XT, 802.11 a/b/g/n support, and Bluetooth 2.0.

The new Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 adopts Intel’s latest Santa Rosa platform. The laptops provides a 15.4 inch display, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M graphics card, a 120GB hard drive, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, USB 2.0, and memory stick/SD card slots. The Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 SD20VP will be priced at approx. $1700, while the Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 SD22VP at around $1900. They are currently available in Korea.
