HAIER introduced their two new laptops in Korea, the T31G and W18. The HAIER T31G comes equipped with 13.3 inches WXGA widescreen (16:10), GeForce FO 7400 with 128MB of VRAM, 1.73Ghz Core 2 Duo T2250 CPU, 512MB RAM, an 80GB HDD, 1.3MP webcam and DVD/CD-R combo. The HAIER W18 features 12.1 inches screen with the same graphic card, Core 2 Duo T2250, 512MB for the RAM, 120GB SATA HDD and the DVD/CD-R combo.
Asus will be launching the G70 gaming laptop anytime and the specs have finally surfaced the net. The G70 features an Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Extreme processor, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, twin 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GTs, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a WUXGA / WXGA+ panel, and an optional blu-ray writer, 2-megapixel camera, bluetooth 2.0+EDR, gigabit Ethernet and 8-cell battery.
The new business laptops by Dell called the Vostro 1510 and Vostro 1310 have dropped. The 15.4- and 13.3-inch models feature Intel CPUs (up to Core 2 Duos), 4GB of RAM, 80GB to 250GB hard drives. The 1510 is $599 and the 1310 is $749.
Toshiba has released the Satellite A200 Onyx Blue 15.4-inch CSV widescreen laptop in Korea market. The laptop supports Windows Vista Home Premium, and Intel Core2Duo processor. The Satellite A200 also offers an attractive onyx blue metallic case, SRS WOW 3D sound audio and 1.3MP webcam.
Gigabyte’s M704 UMPC may well be on its way to the UK market (and possibly in other countries as well?). UMPCPortal gives us a brief historical background on the different names that Gigabyte’s M704 has taken related to its released in various countries.
First, it was released in Russia as the Rover A704 with SRP of $1000, in the Israeli market for $910. Then it appeared in the Spanish market as Ahtec X70GT for an SRP of $1088. And it’s latest appearance came in UK with some stores offering the M704 for pre-ordering with yet an undisclosed price.
