Lenovo will launch its new laptop “ThinkPad Premium Edition” in Korea. This Windows Vista ready laptop comes jam packed with Intel Core2Duo Processor T7600, 256MB ATI M66GL graphic chipset, and 160GB 5400rpmh HDD. It also has 14.1-inch SXGA+ display with 1400×1050 resolution.
Measuring 290mm x 205mm x 25mm and weighing 970 grams, the Fujitsu TeamPad 7500Ws tablet comes jam packed with 624MHz PXA320 processor, 1GB RAM, 10.4 inch XGA touch screen display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, CF memory card slot. Unfortunately, it is available only in Japan. The tablet PC is using Windows CE 5.0 Professional Plus as its operating system.
MSI will release the new GX600-08 Anion laptop which uses a new battery design expanding the battery life up to 20% with a “Turbo Battery Mode” automatically adjusting the system’s workload to save power. No word on the other specs or release/price info, but CeBIT should reveal all pretty soon.

Weighing at only 2.9 pounds, the laptop features a number of leading technologies including solid-state drive storage, a LED backlit display, enhanced wireless connectivity, an integrated 7-millimeter slim dual layer DVD burner, WWAN, built-in GPS and fingerprint reader. The ThinkPad X300 retails for $2,548.
Sungjut will release a new UMPC in Korea called the TangoX Nano. It comes with a CPU C7-M ULV at 1.2GHz, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 40 or 80GB of HDD, HD Audio, a 7” WVGA (800×480) touch screen, a 4 in 1 Card reader, Ethernet Port and Wifi ABG, USB 2.0 (2 port), DVI,And internal Skype/VoIP phone which can be removed at anytime.
The LG P300 has already hit Korea and is now heading to Europe. The 13.3-inch laptop features an Intel T8300 processor, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, NVIDIA graphics set, 802.11n wifi, bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, dual-layer DVD writer and a some USB 2.0 ports. Europeans can now get their hands on one of these for €1,599 or $2,350 for all you interested Americans.
Roper Mobile Technology Company issued new rugged Tablet PC – Duros. According to the manufacturer, the device is intended to be used “anytime, anywhere, even in a hostile environment”. It is especially useful for users who are required to work in special weather conditions – heat, cold and rain.
Duros can operate over a wide temperature range (from -20 C to +50 C), resistant to the ingress of dust and moisture, and vibration. In addition, the machine can fall from a height of over 1 metre.

The Korean company Ripple, known, primarily by beautiful design of its notebooks, developed a new laptop – Tablet PC T8100. It is not an exception to the rule, as it distinguishes good equipment, and harmonious design.
T8100 is equipped with the latest processor Intel T8100 (2.1GHz), produced for the 45 nm technology related to a series of Penryn. In addition, it also equipped with a 12.1″ turning touch screen display, a capacity of 120GB hard drive, optical drive DVD-RW, operational 1GB of memory, running on Windows Vista.
The 15.4-inch widescreen HP Compaq Presario C501NR is another Windows Vista Home Basic laptop with the price tag less than $500. Priced at $499.99 after $100 instant off, it comes jam packed with a 1.73GHz Intel Celeron M, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 80GB SATA HDD and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive. The C501NR also sports a built-in Ethernet LAN, an integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics with up to 64MB of shared memory, and a wireless LAN 802.11b/g and a 56k modem. However, this 6.6 lbs notebook PC doesn’t provide a PCMCIA PC Card slot or an ExpressCard slot.
Looks like NEC will be dropping some laptops with wireless USB. The LaVie J series by NEC consists of the LJ750/LH, the LJ730/LG and the LJ700/LH. Additional features include a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U6700, 2GB of RAM, a 12.1-inch display (1,280 x 800 resolution), 160GB of HDD space, 802.11a/b/g/n wifi and bluetooth 2.0+EDR. All three of these top-of-the-line laptops are going for about $2,543.
BenQ’s new Joybook A52 series laptop sports a 15.4 inch widescreen display operating on the Windows Vista operating system platform. This laptop also features BenQ’s exclusive UltraVivid and DBEF (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film) technology to increase screen brightness and sharpen details. Other specs include Intel Core Duo Processor, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M graphics card, Built-in LAN, WiFI 802.11 a/b/g compatible wireless card, and 3 USB 2.0 ports.
The Inspiron 1526 is now available for $750 (after discount) at best buy. The 1526 Inspirion features a 15.4” display, 1280×800, AMD Turion 64 X2 (2Ghz), 2GB Memory, 250GB HDD, and ATI Radeon Express 1270 (integrated).
Asustek has unveiled the specifications of the Asus U1F ultra-light laptop with LED backlight TFT screen. Weighing at 2.2 pounds, the laptop features a 11.1-inch widescreen display with 1360 x 768 pixels resolution, the Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset, Intel Core Duo U2400 ultra-low voltage processor, support DDR2 667MHz memory, and up to 80 GB HDD.
HTC has come up with a 16GB version of the Advantage as well as an improved keyboard that’s alot easier to type on because it’s bigger and uses haptic tactile feedback, TouchFlo ( their finger-friendly user interface), and Opera 9.
Acer released in Japan new notebook with a rather difficult name AS5520-7A1G16 which will cost not so much – only $930.

Asustek has finally unveiled the specs of its ASUS Lamborghini VX2, no doubt a competitor to the Acer Ferrari Laptop. The laptop features 15.4-inch widescreen, Mobile Intel 945PM Express Chipset, 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor, NVIDIA GeForce Go7700 512MB graphics, and Intel’s Next-Gen Wireless-N card. It also has 2GB of DDR2 667MHz RAM and a 160GB SATA HDD. Other features include three USB ports, VGA-Out S-Video TV-Out, IEEE1394, a 8 in 1 card reader, and a built-in 1.3M pixel 240° swivel webcam.
Priced at around $2,700 in Korea, the LG PS-S720K notebook features a Core 2 Duo T7200, a 15.4 inch display (1680×1050), an ATI Mobility Radeon X1700, 1GB of RAM, a 5400rpm 160GB SATA HDD, a Multi DVD burner, Vista Home Premium, SRS WOW, and 5.1 HD (24bit) sound quality. The notebook measures 357mm x 260mm x 38mm and weights 2.8Kg.
Fujitsu has released the LED-based ultra portable notebook. Dubbed as the P7230, the notebook comes in black and white colors and weights only 2.9 pounds. Other Features includes a 10.6 inch LCD widescreen, an up to 2GB RAM, Intel’s energy-efficient Core Solo U1400 processor, a memory card slot, and a shock-mounted hard drive. The price tag starts from $1,699 upwards depending on the configuration.
Finally, the long-awaited ultra portable Tablet PC HP tx2000 appeared on the market. Already it can be ordered on the official website of HP. Unfortunately, this possibility is given only to residents of the United States, in Europe the novelty is expected in the next month.
