Fujitsu released new notebook LifeBook P8000 with glossy black cover “black diamond”. It has 12″ display with LED backlighting illumination, and built-in web camera.
P8000 weighs less than 1.4 kg, and is equipped with 1.8″ hard disk and a built-optical drive. According to the information, LifeBook P8000 will be equipped with battery that provides 6.5 hours of work, and the operating system Vista.
Fujitsu LifeBook P8000 will cost about $1700, and will be on sale in early February.
The CES is also presenting this media laptop from Toshiba. Asus has announced the release of their notebook called the U2E. It features a 32GB SSD making it shock-resistant, a high-res webcam combined into the LCD and the ASUS SmartLogon software which uses face recognition security.
Here’s another laptop by Lenovo known as the Y710. It comes with standard specs such as: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5Ghz, 6MB cache, 17 » display (1440×900), ATI Radeon HD2600 256MB, Optional HD optical disk, 500GB HDD (2 drives), 2GB RAM, 4 hrs of battery life, and has a starting place of $1199.
Axiotron Inc released new Tablet PC – Mac with touch screen, which was developed with the consent of Apple. In addition to original design the novelty, known as Modbook, distinguishes the opportunity to paint and draw with a special pen.
Also it is notable by its (rather powerful) specifications. ModBook is equipped with a good web camera, and onboard GPS Navigator, DVD Combo optical drive. 13.3″ widescreen display has a large viewing angle and high contrast.
Axiotron ModBook Tablet PC will cost about $2290. New Tablet PC, of course, is a device, which should be purchased this year.
HP is going to be showcasing the TX2000 tablet pc at the CES as well. It comes wirh the outfit’s QuickPlay software, a webcam ,an integrated microphone, Pavilion HDX, a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS graphics set, an optional Core 2 Extreme processor, Blu-ray / HD DVD support and a 20.1-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) XHD Ultra Brightview display along with four Altec Lansing speakers and a built-in “subwoofer,” an eSATA port, hybrid analog / digital TV tuner, room for two HDDs and a media remote. HP wants about $1299 for this tablet.
ASUS has unveiled its new Z84Jp. It is a sleek 17-inch notebook that boasts an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (up to 2.33-GHz T7600), up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, SATA HDD support, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, and a WSXGA+ display. Other features include four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, Bluetooth 2.0 support, a built-in 2.0MP webcam, and a 7-in-1 memory card reader.
Lenovo’s newest IdeaPad called the U110 has just dropped and should be in stores soon. Although there’s no detailed specs, here are some that have been talked about: 11” display, 2.3lb, 0.7” deep, and SSD will be selectable by buyers. Lenovo wont released this laptop until April 2008.
LG has released in Korea the LG Z1-P2007, which weighs just around 1.89kg. The laptop is powered by the 1.83GHz T5600 (L2 cache 2MB) processor, 12.1 inches WXGA Fine Bright LCD, 1GB of RAM, and uses the ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 Graphic Card. It also provides a 5-in-1 memory card slot (XD/SD/MMC/MS/MS pro). The price tag is around $1,900.

Weighing 4.18 pounds, the laptop also supports an HD audio system enhanced with SRS 3D technolgy, 802.11a/b/g WLAN, and a 6-in-1 memory card reader.
Priced at $1349.99, the HP dv9000t is a multimedia notebook that boasts a 1.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, 2GB of DDR2-667 memory, 160GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, and a 17-inch WXGA+ BrightView display.
