Fujitsu LifeBook E8410

The well-known model Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 received a new mobile processors from Intel – Core 2 Duo Penryn. Now, in addition to 65 nm processor Core 2 Duo T7500 and T8100, LifeBook E8410 can be completed with a 45 nm chip T9300 (2.1 GHz).

New version of LifeBook E8410 based on Penryn is already available to consumers at a price of $1620. As expected, next month Fujitsu will issue two additional models on the basis of Penryn – LifeBook N6470 and A6120.

Fujitsu is going to release new ultra-portable notebook LifeBook P8010. It is expected that the novelty will be on sale in the next few weeks. 12.1″ notebook is built with a processor Intel SL7100 VL and equipped with up to 4GB of RAM, hard disk of 80GB SATA, with the possibility of extension, the graphics card GMA GS965, 1.3-megapixel webcam and Windows Vista.
In addition LifeBook P8010 has 3 USB ports, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It weighs only 1.22 kg and comes with battery capable of 6.5 hours of uninterrupted work.

Lenovo ThinkPad X300

Lenovo company is going to release new ultra-light notebook ThinkPad X300. At this time, there is no information about the date when this model will enter the market, as well as its prices. However, some specifications of the new Lenovo laptop are already known.
ThinkPad X300 will be equipped with a 13.3″ LCD display with LED light with a high (for such diagonal) resolution – 1400×900 dots. Furthermore, the laptop will include: dual-core processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, up to 4 GB of operational memory DDR2 PC2-5300. At the same time Lenovo ThinkPad X300 uses solid HDD of 64 GB.
Series of notebooks from the company Lenovo (under the symbol X) is positioned as rather powerful portable devices. All models in the series are equipped with 12.1″ displays (except X300). Based on the value of existing models in this series, it can be assumed that the price of ThinkPad X300 will be about $2500-2700.

Dell has announced the Latitude ATG D620 (All-Terrain Grade) which meets the military standards for vibration, humidity and altitude. It is designed to protect against accidental bumps, moisture, and other elements that customers encounter working in the field.
The laptop is designed to withstand challenging conditions commonly associated with military environments, and construction sites. It provides high durability paint, a water-resistant keyboard, a shock-mounted hard drive, and port covers.
Dell Latitude ATG D620 has a 14.1-inch widescreen display with ambient light sensor (ALS), glass overlay, and anti-reflective coating. Moreover, the company claims that the laptop’s display is 1½ times brighter than most mainstream corporate notebooks for better viewing in sunlight. It is now available in the US with price tag of $2,499.

Everex has dropped their new CloudBook CE1200V UMPC. It features a 1.2GHz Via C7-M ULV mobile processor, 512MB of DDR2 533MHz memory, a 7-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480, VIA UniChrome Pro IGP graphics, VIA High-Definition Audio, and WiFi in its 802.11b and g flavors. Other features that stick out are its touchpad, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port, 4-in-1 media card reader, headphone/microphone ports, and a set of built-in stereo speakers. It runs off a 4-cell L-ion battery and has 5 hours of battery life. The CloudBook will be available January 25, 2008 at Walmart for $399.
